"5 Ways to Save Money this Quarantine"

It's been three (3) months since community quarantine has been declared in our country.

It was good news for some, and bad ones for others. For those who are working from the comfort of their homes right now, how do you save money?

Below are my suggestions, feel free to add yours:

1. Stick to your budget plan.
A lot of us struggle when it comes to budgetting simply because, we don't stick to it or we find it hard to stick it. I'm not saying you need to stick to it from cents to cents, you can also do some tweaks in it but always remember to follow your budget plan. You may use apps, excel file or a notebook to help you get started. Use what's most convenient for you.

2. Refrain yourself from purchasing online.
Avoid buying unecessary stuffs in the e-marketplace most specially if it's just wants and not needs. Remember to use your money more wisely during this trying times.

3. Do freelance works/jobs if you have the skill.
One way to save money is do part time or freelance jobs aside from your usual work. You may be blessed with artistic or communication skills. Use it to save more money, not just for yourself but your family as well.

4. Do online selling.
Another way of saving money is to do side hustles such as online selling. Learn to turn your hobbies and passion into profit. It's is easier now to create a page and let everyone now that you are selling for example, your baked cookies. You can also sell your preloved clothes, shoes, designer bags and toy collections.

5. Live below your means.
Last, but definitely not the least. If you're too shy to start a business or felt like you don't have skills or talents to do freelancing, this is what I can advise to you. Learn to live below your means. That is, avoid buying things or stuffs just for the sake of being in. Budget your money wisely but don't forget to pay yourself first.

That's it! Hope it helps!

Let me now if you have other suggestions. :)
